Ina Valley Craft Beer
To many in Japan and indeed around the world, Oktoberfest is synonymous with beer. Ina Oktoberfest highlights the craft beers brewed right here in the Ina valley.
These three breweries pour their passion into their craft to brew some fantastic beers of various styles and unique flavors from local harvests. With such a nice selection, it will be difficult to not want to try them all.
Starting in 2022, the host brewery In a daze Brewing, has brewed the official Ina Oktoberfest Marzen. As the name marzen suggests, Ina Oktoberfest is brewed in March and then aged for 6 months, making it ready to open and enjoy just in time for Oktoberfest.
Local Restaurant Vendors
We don't have your typical street food vendors at our event. Ina Oktoberfest is about the community coming together, and with that in mind we source our food vendors from the local restaurants and cafes from the area. This provides a truly unique experience at a festival in Japan. There are plenty of delicious options ranging from snacks and desserts to appetizers and even full meals. The event is held at Ina Central Park, which we turn into a beer garden experience complete with tables and chairs to sit back and enjoy the atmosphere while you eat, and drink.
Continuing on our concept of coming together, our food vendors combine their local culinary culture with a Bavarian twist and visa-versa. An example of this is the sauerkraut used by some vendors is made using Japanese red shiso leaves. This intercultural exchange makes Ina Oktoberfest so special.
Main Event Tent
The main event booth offers multiple services for the event patrons. The event staff are friendly and ready to assist you. The kid's will enjoy the balloons, lights, and other festival items available at the event booth.
Every year, Ina Oktoberfest raises money for charity. In 2022 we raise ¥83,650 for the United Nations' Ukraine Humanitarian Relief Fund. We grew sunflowers which are the Ukraine's national flower and sold them at the event booth. Also available at the event booth are the raffle tickets to win prizes at the end of the night. All of the profit goes to charity, so help out and come visit the event booth.
